Where is a popular place to go in Mexico where you can rent a boat or just relax?

We bounce back and forth (and argue a lot) about where we think the best place to get away is in Mexico. Sometimes we think the Caribbean side is the best, with Cozumel taking the lead and sometimes we tend towards Puerto Vallarta. Based on our experiences in 2024, Puerto Vallarta is the current leader for the variety of experiences available. The most hard core fishermen with large budgets are always going to choose Los Cabos and the dive crowd is always going to choose Cozumel but for a good fun general experience with snorkeling, boating, world class fishing, swim beaches and sunset cruises, and a price more favorable than boating out of Cancun or Los Cabos, we are going to often choose Puerto Vallarta.

Cancun: The Spring Break Queen 🎉

Sure, Cancun's got those Instagram-worthy turquoise waters that'll make your followers drool. The party scene? Absolutely insane! You can cruise to Isla Mujeres for some epic snorkeling and beach clubs that'll keep the vibes high all day long.

But here's the tea - it's basically spring break central 24/7. If you're trying to dock your boat anywhere during peak season, good luck!
