As the exchange rate for the peso and us dollar has been changing, we are going to quote prices in US Dollars. Some places do quote prices in peso but most prefer to quote prices in US Dollars.

Los Cabos Yacht prices tend to be among Mexico's highest, reflecting the luxury market. A day charter on a 40-foot yacht typically starts around $2,500, and that is a bargain price. The high season runs December through April when weather is ideal and whale watching opportunities abound. The Sea of Cortez side offers calmer waters, while the Pacific side provides more adventurous sailing.

Puerto Vallarta Known for its perfect blend of traditional Mexican charm and modern amenities, Puerto Vallarta offers more moderate charter prices than Los Cabos. A 40-foot yacht day charter averages $1,500-3,000, with weekly rates for luxury yachts starting around $25,000. The bay provides protected waters ideal for casual sailing, while trips to remote beaches and the Marietas Islands are popular. The winter months offer perfect sailing conditions with steady winds and minimal rain.

Cancun The yachting scene in Cancun caters heavily to tourists, with numerous options for day charters and party boats. Prices start around $1,800 for a day charter on a 40-foot yacht. However, be aware that hurricane season (June-November) can affect availability and prices.

Cozumel specializes in dive-focused yacht charters, with many boats equipped specifically for underwater exploration. Prices tend to be slightly lower than mainland Cancun, with day charters starting around $1,500 for a well-equipped 35-foot vessel. However, it is possible to charter a boat for free diving, swimming and snorkeling, touring and fishing or a combination of activities.
